Everyone is Irish on St. Patty's Day

St. Patty's Day is just around the corner and I must say I don't own all that much green. Therefore there is always a pinch or two involved from my 11 year old who thinks I need a pinch that leaves a black and blue bruise for not wearing green. I guess if you have on green panties and she can't see them that doesn't count.
So this year I wanted to plan ahead to avoid the pinch and started looking for cute headbands ala Zooey Deschanel

and found this super easy tutorial over at Momtastic by way of the Craft Snob on how to make the cutest and easiest sparkly clover headband ever all for a cost of about $2. Head on over to her blog to get the full DIY instructions on this project. I have everything for this minus the metal headband. I have a plastic one so I think I will use that one for now to give it a try, but the metal one does seem like it would be a bit more sturdy. Once I make one I will be sure and post some pics and let you know if its as easy as Momtastic says.
