Did you notice the moon Saturday night? I was at its brightest point in nearly two decades!! We were walking out of the grocery store Saturday night, when we saw it; and my four year old son's face was priceless!
He is the kid who is obsessed with space and rocket ships and planets, for that matter! So, when we walked out and saw this BIG, HUGE glowing Moon, he was jumping up and down pointing to the sky shouting,"WOW, is that a REAL planet"!!! He kept trying to find the "man on the moon who put the flag in it".
It really was such a sight to see. If you missed out, don't worry, it will occur again in 18 years.
