DIY Dollar Tree Christmas Bulb Wreath!

Pin It now! Yesss .... you read that right! I totally made this (please excuse my poor photo quality. Obviously, my camera phone sucks) adorable, super posh, totally beautiful christmas bulb wreath using everything from the dollar tree!

How to make this!

Well, for starters ... Plan a trip to that totally thrifty dollar tree! And purchase the following:

6 packs of 12 Christmas bulbs in the color of your choice.
1 roll of pretty mesh ribbon in the color of your choice.
1 ornement to hang in the center of your choice. I went with a "Merry Christmas" one.

You will need a wire coat hanger ... the kind you get from the dry cleaners. I went to our local dry cleaners and asked to buy one .... he looked at me like I was crazy and kindly gave me one for free! SCORE!!! :)

Bend your coat hanger to form a circle. Your circle might not be super perfect but, thats okay.
Next ... hot glue the tops of the bulbs onto the bulbs so that they do not pop off ... TRUST ME ... they will. I had to go back and do it all over because I didn't do that to begin with. Once all tops are secured on ... begin threading your bulbs onto the coat hanger. I wish I would have thought to take step by step photos, but I didn't ... boo.

As you start threading you will notice how they bunch up to form the "layers" ... great job, kid! :) Keep threading until you are done.

Once completed ... twist the end of the hanger to secure it shut. Hide that by tying a nice pretty bow onto the front of your wreath covering that end of the wreath. Hot glue it on ... then hot glue the christmas ornament you chose to the back of the bow ... wah laa ... Now you can enjoy all the fabulous compliments you will receive on your super posh Christmas Bulb Wreath!

Cost to create: $8!

Merry Christmas Crafting!!!
