Please Say YES to the Dress..

Pin It now! I was never your typical little girl that day dreamed about one day meeting her prince charming and planning her wedding extravaganza! So when I got engaged earlier this year I was surprised on how much sleep I was losing because I was up late day dreaming about my wedding extravaganza that we would soon be planning. I could not believe how much fun and how excited I was having with all the planning. We both wanted to have a small bridal party since we were gong to having a small wedding and we didn't want to have half our guests be in our bridal party. My fiance of course just called his guys and asked them, which in reality I could have just done as well. But I wanted to do something unique and special for my two BFF's my SIL and my cousin Eileen (also known around here as Spanky's crazy creator).
I wanted to create something that they would love and cherish, I wanted them to see how special they were to me and why it meant the world to me that they would stand beside me at the alter as I said YES to my prince charming!
So I pondered and pondered until Eureka!! I knew just what it was that I was going to do for them. A while back I randomly came across a tutorial for a brown paper bag mini album, so I figured I would do something like that with a little twist.

I wish I would have taken pictures along the way so that this could have been a better post, but sadly I didnt. My project took months and months to create only because I would work on it only a couple nights a week. I had Eileen dog up old pictures of her and I and I dug up pictures from my mom's house as well. With my SIL Melissa I pretty much had all the pictures on hand that I needed. The hardest part and the most time consuming was deciding what pictures to use in what layout. So after many months the two albums were complete (sadly I currently only have pictures of one album, I suck I know sorry), then it came down to when I would give them their albums. The plan was to mail Eileen hers since she lives on the other side of the planet from me, but then she informed me that she would be coming down for a visit since she would be in town for her friend's wedding. So when she was down here I gave her the album, it was a great moment she opened the book and she started crying, and then my eyes watered up and then she said "of course I will"!

Then came presenting Melissa with her book, and I knew just when I would do it..when we went wedding dress shopping. And again I gave her the album and she thought it my my coupon book, silly Melissa she opened it up and again I had another cryer on my hands and again my eyes started to water and she said "yes yes of course i will"!

The books were not only special to them but special for me because they were filled with memories, inside jokes, stories, pictures they are filled with sentimental value.

The last page was left blank with just a date on there so that after the wedding day a picture from that day can me inserted there. I just wish I would have had some step by step pictures to show you all I suck I know sorry booooo..

Melissa, Eileen thank you so much for being agreeing to be a part of my special day, it means the world to me that you will be standing by my side, I can't wait for the day to be here already. So now the better question is when's the bachlorette party yo??
