Pin It now!
When I think of "Lazy Susans" ... I think of them being at my grandma's house ... on the kitchen table. Spinning around with tons of condiments. But, did you know that it could have a life with so much more to it then just spinning ketchup, mustard, and mayo around?! LOL I am sure many of you have Lazy Susan's laying around ... riiiight?! Just spinning away on your kitchen table (or stashed away somewhere) I wish I could say I did ... but, I didn't - however, my awesome friend Danielle did, and she had her's for sale for THREE DOLLASSSS ($3)! She is going to wish she never sold me her awesome Lazy Susan after reading this! LOL
Get your boring Lazy Susan out ... you know, the one that is somewhere in hiding looking like this:
And then go grab your spray paint ... I used black. It took two coats.
Gather your pail tins ... I am sure mason jars would look extra fab with this too ... but, I went with the pail tins so that my five year old could access them with no problem! :)
I purchased my cool tin pails at hobbylobby.com they have a bunch of really cool designs, solids and silver pails. I mixed and matched mine a little ... because, well, I like to do that! :-)
I secured the pails on using this awesome adhesive sealant:
** Please note: this sealant is super strong smelling ... I would recommend wearing gloves and possibly a mask and def. open some windows!
PERFECT project to make for craft hour with your kids ... I filled our pails with crayons
glue sticks, pencils, hole punches and scissors. It is the perfect addition to my craft Room ... Danille, if you are reading this ... hehe Thanks for the awesome Lazy Susan!! :0)
