Sunday Funday, Favicon ME!

Pin It now! Did you notice our NEW favicon in the top left hand corner of your web browser?! I was browsing some pinterest sites a few weeks ago and came across one that had this cute little adorable pink heart and it totally made me want one. I never knew what they were called until this past week, when my friend Holly over at design love told me what that cute little icon was called ...a "favicon". She even added one to her site! ***** Total plug, but if you EVER need some awesome design work done, she is defiantly your go to girl! She created my Pretty & Punk Design logo

and my Willow Tree Photography Logo

And her work is AMAZING!!! As you can totally see! :) She actually re-did my logo, but, I am saving that for the reveal of my NEW website! So exciting!!!

Anyhow, I thought I would share with all you bloggers out there the "How To's" on adding a favicon to your blog site!

I followed the steps from "A Mom's Life" here they were VERY helpful in helping me ... but, I got a little lost on the part where she says that you need to paste your code after the title-dat blog blah blah blah ...

I followed her steps by going to icon J's favicon generator and uploading my own image to use. Your favicon needs to be 16 x 16 and this totally adjusts sizes for you to do so. After you create your favicon you need to click the tab that says "Edit HTML" scary if you mess it up, but you won't ... because YOU CAN DO THIS! LOL I got lost on her directions here because I totally did not see the title-datablog blah blah blah . code anywhere ... so after doing another google search on how to add a favicon I discovered a missing step ... you need to click the Expand Widget Templates button and then wah-la ... paste and save and enjoy your new favicon!!!
